Don’t be an Undercover Agent

It shocks me how often I go to look up an agent online to find an email address or cell number and I can barely find any information about them at all. Your #1 job as a real estate agent is to be a salesperson, and that includes selling yourself. Imagine if you had a listing, but didn’t put it on the MLS, didn’t tell anyone about it, didn’t put a sign in the yard, nothing. You would have almost no chance of selling it, right? Same with yourself. If you want people to use you when buying/selling, you have to let them know you are there. In today’s digital world you MUST have a web presence. That includes a social media profile, website, and built out Zillow/Realtor.com/etc. profiles. Each should prominently display multiple ways of contacting you - not everyone texts and not everyone emails.
