Texting

Unpopular opinion - texting is not a professional means of communication. Agents have gotten into a habit of texting each other about contractual matters and it has also spilled over into texting the other parties to the transaction. Real estate transactions involve some of the biggest financial decisions people will make in their lives - it deserves greater time and attention than a quick text. Email allows for easy tracking and allows you to include other needed parties. Email can also be scheduled to ensure communications aren’t coming through late at night, which can be embarrasing. Texting should be reserved for quick questions and casual matters.
