Lender Updates

We love lenders that give regular updates! Occasionally, we will come across a lender that provides scheduled automatic weekly updates and it makes a huge difference in how smoothly the transaction proceeds. The majority of lenders have to be asked for updates and are slow to respond. Some only give vague answers to anyone but the borrower, which can make it difficult for the agents/TCs to keep things moving. It can eliminate a lot of the back and forth when the lender provides weekly updates that include notes about the appraisal, outstanding items, etc.
