Keep a clean email inbox!
Real estate agents are notorious for having chaotic email inboxes. But! It doesn’t have to be this way! A clean email inbox helps keep things organized and can prevent important items from getting missed. If your email is currently a disaster, don’t waste time trying to clean it up. Just start a folder named “old” and dump all your current inbox in there. Then going forward, emails should either be answered and filed into the correct folder (all emails relating to your client Susie Q should go in the Susie Q folder), left in the inbox for further action or research, or deleted. Your inbox becomes a to-do list and you can easily train an assistant to help you with this. Pro tip - have a separate email address that you only use for business so you can allow an assistant to have access to your email without them needing to see your doctor appointments and ubereats addiction.
