Ask your broker

It can feel easier to just jump into a Facebook group when you have an issue or a situation you have encountered before. Most agents hate to “bother” their broker and in the new real estate environment, managing brokers are responsible for often hundreds of agents at a time. However, there are still issues that need to be run by your broker, not strangers on the internet :) Different brokers have different ways of approaching situations and you want to make sure your broker is up to speed if the situation escalates and ends up in litigation.
